Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy
This Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy explains your statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase made through Marifield House.
This policy is separate from our voluntary 30-day Return & Refund Policy and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing goods online from Marifield House, you generally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the day after you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If an order contains several items delivered separately, the cancellation period generally begins after the final item has been received.
How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.
You may submit your cancellation request using the withdrawal form provided through the Revoq app on our website.
You may also contact us directly by email at support@marifieldhouse.com.
Your message should clearly state that you wish to cancel your purchase and should include sufficient order information for us to identify the transaction.
You are not required to use the Revoq withdrawal form to exercise your statutory cancellation right.
Returning Goods After Cancellation
After informing us that you wish to cancel, you must generally return the goods within 14 days.
Please follow the return instructions provided after your cancellation request has been received.
Do not send goods back without first obtaining the appropriate return instructions.
Unless otherwise required by law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising your statutory right to cancel.
We recommend using a trackable postal or delivery service when returning goods.
Condition of Returned Goods
You may inspect goods in a way that would reasonably be permitted in a physical shop.
You may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Where applicable, returned products should therefore be kept in their original condition as far as reasonably possible.
Refunds Following Cancellation
If you validly cancel an eligible order, we will refund payments due to you in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
This generally includes:
- The price paid for the cancelled goods.
- The cost of our standard delivery option, where applicable.
If you selected a delivery method that costs more than our standard delivery option, the additional delivery cost is generally not refundable.
Approved refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
Refund Timing
Where applicable, refunds will be made within 14 days of:
- The date we receive the returned goods, or
- The date you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
We may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or you have supplied evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by law.
Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The statutory cancellation right may not apply to certain goods where an exception under UK consumer law applies.
Examples may include:
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
- Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the legal exception applies.
- Other goods or services specifically excluded from statutory cancellation rights under applicable law.
Any relevant exception will be applied only where permitted by law.
Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
The statutory right to cancel is separate from your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
If there is a problem with an item you receive, please contact us at support@marifieldhouse.com.
Your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods are not affected by this policy.
Our 30-Day Return Policy
Marifield House also offers a 30-day return period for eligible products.
This voluntary return period is separate from your statutory 14-day cancellation right.
Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full eligibility requirements and return conditions.
Revoq Withdrawal Form
For convenience, you may submit a withdrawal or cancellation request through the Revoq withdrawal form available on our website.
Using the Revoq form is optional. You may instead send us any other clear statement confirming your decision to cancel.
